This work explores my own contrasting emotions between when I am in a city and while I am in the countryside environments.

The large layered cityscapes (taking up most of a wall) are placed alongside smaller (A3 at most) layered countryside images. This is to convey a feeling of the city being an overwhelming environment where as the countryside is much less so.

Alongside these images comes the musical element. The use of this is to demonstrate and explore how music has an ability to change our perceptions of the word around us and therefor the images for those viewing them. (This music is played though several sets of headphones, each headphone playing a different piece)
